Why It Works

Why Yamaha Owners Choose These

Rotomoulded shell

Tougher, cleaner and better looking than inflatable-style alternatives.

Easier fitment

The updated bracket-first system makes install cleaner and more straightforward.

Better real-world stability

More confidence with passengers, gear, side loading and standing on the ski.

Built for Real Yamaha Use

These collars suit owners using Yamaha skis for fishing, exploring, family use and rougher days on the water. They add practical stability and extra flotation without hurting the look of the ski.

Each set includes the fitment hardware, EVA decking and the updated Gen 4 design. The newer fitment system is cleaner and easier to install than older versions.

These new collars feature cast-in nuts for easy mounting of rod holders, speargun racks and accessories. You can also tie your ski directly to a jetty using the collars, giving your hull added dock protection.

What You Get

Most Yamaha jet skis use the same fitment kit. This includes bolts and rubbers to refit all the corner rubbers and gunnel rubbers. Some older models need longer bolts to refit the corner rubbers — all are included in the fitment kit.

Unlike Sea-Doo models, Yamaha fitment requires a pop rivet gun in addition to basic hand tools. EVA Decking foam is available to match your ski's colour scheme.

Our collars fit all these Yamaha models using the same fitment kit. These new collars are more user-friendly than ever, featuring cast-in nuts for easy mounting of rod holders, speargun racks, and other accessories.

Made using rotomoulding technology, our collars are extremely durable and built to withstand harsh marine conditions. The smooth outer finish reduces drag in the water, while the inverted EVA foam delivers a non-slip finish and comfort. Whether you're fishing, diving, or exploring new coastlines, these collars are designed to go the distance.

Yamaha Reviews

What Yamaha owners say

A few Yamaha-specific comments from owners using collars for family trips, stability, rough water and offshore peace of mind.

“My Yamaha EX was extremely unstable with just myself onboard and had no chance of taking my partner or any of my family members with me on trips. Rico fitted the medium size collars and it completely transformed the ski. We go three up now and it’s super stable.”

James — Yamaha EX 2020 — Brisbane, Australia

“I wouldn’t own a ski that didn’t have a set on. Super stable even with three up. Great service, it’s my second set from JFM.”

Dan Tuohy — Yamaha FXHO 2017

“I wouldn’t own a ski without having collars on it. The installation was fast, easy and well improved on. Great customer service and good people. I will be a life-long customer.”

Jeremy Russell — Yamaha FXHO 2021 — Oregon, USA

Fitment Guide

DIY fitment

Most (90%) of our clients do their own fitment. It's not too difficult but you do need basic hand tool skills. Read a measuring tape, work a square, hand drill, 10mm spanner and operate a pop rivet gun.

Most owners can fit these at home with basic tools and a bit of care. If you want help confirming the right Yamaha fitment, ask before you order.

01

Prepare the Gunnel

The gunnel rubber gets trimmed back the length of the mounting bracket. Use a sharp knife or grinder. Most Yamaha models have the same gunnel setup.

02

Fit the Mounting Brackets

Align the brackets and mark your drill points. Includes bolts and rubbers to refit all corner rubbers and gunnel rubbers. Some older models need longer bolts — all included in your kit.

03

Pop Rivet & Secure

Unlike Sea-Doo, Yamaha fitment requires a pop rivet gun to secure certain parts of the bracket. All required fasteners are included in your fitment kit.

04

Attach Collars & Accessories

Secure the collars to the brackets. Use cast-in nuts to mount rod holders, speargun racks or any other accessories you need.
